A 1960s Danish ceramic pendant with a wide, hand-thrown silhouette finished in deep maroon and smoky charcoal glaze. The domed form is punctuated by a rhythmic band of circular perforations along the lower edge, casting a constellation of warm light when illuminated. Additional hand-cut openings accent the body in sculptural gestureseach one a subtle mark of the maker's hand. At 20 inches in diameter, the scale is generous without overwhelmingperfect over a dining table, kitchen island, or intimate seating area. Condition: Great vintage condition with surface variations and minor glaze irregularities consistent with age and the handmade nature of the piece.
