Designed by Danish lighting designer Jo Hammerborg and produced by Fog & Mørup in Denmark during the 1970s, this pair of Tarok pendant lamps reflects the refined industrial approach that characterises Hammerborg’s later work. The model combines clean geometric lines with functional detailing, executed in brushed brass with lacquered aluminium interiors to create a warm, controlled light. Hammerborg served as chief designer at Fog & Mørup and is internationally recognised for his contribution to Danish modern lighting design. The Tarok model exemplifies the balance between form and function that defined Scandinavian lighting of the period.
