Created in 2016 by Shanghai-based studio Neri & Hu, this piece consists of a large, oval fiberglass shade tightly held within a dense metal cage as it hangs from the ceiling. The integrated LED within the shade fills it with life while the metal slightly mutes it into a softer accenting glow. The shade is exposed from the underside, sending out a direct glow into the space from below.
