A monumental Italian lantern pendant, handcrafted in Italy in the early 1900s. The dome-like form is wrapped in intricate wrought iron filigree—each scroll bent and fixed by hand into a lace-like mesh. Twisted uprights frame textured glass panes, their surface mottled to soften the light within. A cast finial in the shape of a pinecone grounds the base, while a decorative canopy anchors the fixture above. Glows warmly when lit—atmospheric in an entryway or suspended low above a stair landing. Condition: Great vintage condition, with a patinated finish to the iron. This pendant has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists and fitted with a newly sourced finial, canopy, and textured glass. Accepts two light bulbs.
