Flare Led Pendant

The Flare LED Pendant from Bomma features slender, mouth-blown crystal rods that create linear compositions in space. Designer Katerina Handlová developed rods that are manually pulled during production, with molten glass covered in small glass shards called sinter before being stretched to the desired lengths. This traditional technique creates unique spiral patterns as the fragments stretch across the interior of each rod. Steel mountings hold the crystal while remaining visually understated, allowing the illuminated glass to take center stage. The rods intersect and layer to build installations where each crystal element contributes to a larger pattern of light lines.
