This lovely glass and chone lamp was made by Fontana Arte, a name synonymous with luxury Italian lighting. There are 8 plates of thick acqua coloured glass and 4 lamp holders for E14 lightbulbs.The double plates reflecting curved shaped shadows when lit . The main structure is heavy chrome plated metal with a metal chain. There us a strong hook for ceiling mounting. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
