Louis Weisdorf, the distinguished Danish architect and designer, created this gold facet pendant light in 1963. The facet consists of 18 identically shaped shades. The construction of the lamp is a 3-D puzzle, as each piece fits into the neighboring pieces and the lamp gets its original shape when all pieces are put together and a cylinder is formed. Weisdorf designed two versions, a silver facet (silver on the outside and had two shades of blue inside) and a gold facet (golden on the outside with two shades of orange on the inside). I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
