Initially noted as a byproduct of metal spinning, the subtle wood grain markings inspired a unique fabrication process. Custom molds, crafted from sandblasted maple boards, imprint natural wood grain patterns onto aluminum shades as they spin on a lathe. This technique ensures that each run of 25 shades carries a fresh and evolving texture, celebrating the intersection of traditional woodworking and modern metalwork.
