The Grain Barrel Pendant from Ravenhill Studio pairs precise engineering with organic detail, putting a new spin on a simple silhouette. The Grain family emerged by chance when the LA fabricator noted the spinning process would impress woodgrain into the shade, and Ravenhill chose to highlight rather than hide the effect. Spun aluminum shades are formed using custom maple molds, imprinting a unique grain pattern before the molds are sandblasted. The understated detailing enhances interiors, uniting modern construction with expressive natural textures.
