The Grohle LED Pendant from dweLED reinterprets the drum shade by replacing solid fabric with vertical strings stretched between two aluminum rings. LED modules line the top and bottom rings, producing horizontal bands of illumination that frame the strung interior. The construction allows the light to escape through the gaps between strings while maintaining the drum's overall cylindrical shape. An electrified cable handles both suspension and power, with push-pin connectors at the canopy allowing for height customization, and the driver is concealed within the canopy housing.
