An Italian Murano glass pendant light, attributed to Carlo Scarpa and dating to 1935. The spherical globe is formed from satin glass accented with clear, lens-like dimpleseach one hand-pulled to create rhythmic texture across the surface. Suspended from a polished chrome stem, the piece balances mid-century design with the centuries-old tradition of Venetian glassmaking. When illuminated, the pattern comes alive in a soft, dappled glow. Condition: Great vintage condition. Minor surface wear to metal components consistent with age and use; glass globe is in beautiful condition overall. Professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new socket and canopy. Accepts one E12 base light bulb. Additional Dimensions: Glass and pipe: 28"H; Drop: 20"H; Canopy: 5"Diameter x 1"H
