The Jai Pendant from Gantri adds a mix of contemporary design paired with traditional elements. The brainchild of the award-winning Murka Design Lab located in Northern Spain's Basque region, it takes its inspiration from the traditional Basque hats worn for carnivals, using a circular canopy and slim downrod to suspend powerful lamping inside a conical shade. The simple geometric silhouette is accompanied by a smaller conical accent that secures the translucent diffuser, with each element made from a Gantri-signature sustainable polymer sourced from Thai sugarcane. The opaque housing and accent contrast nicely with the translucent texture of the diffuser, distributing an even glow below, accompanied by a spot of shadow.
