Knitterling Pendant

The Ingo Maurer Knitterling Pendant was designed by Maurer in 1978 to create a unique play of light and shadow with a simple flared shade. This is made possible by the material from which the shade is made: crinkled white Japanese paper. Appearing soft and subtle when the light is turned off, the crinkled paper's true depth of texture is only fully revealed when illuminated.
