Designer Noé Duchaufour Lawrance approaches the piece with a focus on harmony, art, and nature. Lawrance sees each piece as an organic form that grows with the user. Here the silhouette of the traditional lantern creates an instant connection with the user through its familiar contours. Evoking a lantern’s handle, the slim metal structure frames the light source with a graphic quality. The blown glass shade presents a soft form and milky hue like that of a delicate egg. Radiant light enhances the poetic silhouette as a dreamy ambient aura that seemingly floats in the air.
