Wonderful mid-century “cocoon” pendant with a gorgeous, uniform beige patina. This timeless and incredibly unique piece was designed by achille castiglioni and produced in italy during the 1960s. In amazing condition, with no tears or rips. The cocoon features a marvelous, evenly aged patina that enhances its charm, enriched externally along the frame with light-colored lines that add subtle contrast and depth. The effect when lit is simply spectacular, casting a warm and inviting glow. It has been professionally rewired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards, and uses a single standard e26/e27 light bulb. A one-of-a-kind pendant, perfect to complement an organic modern or mid-century interior.
