Stunning pendant light, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of Murano artisans. Made in Italy between the 70s and early 80s, it has an essential and elegant design whose strong point is the high quality of the opaline handblown glass globe, characterized by a splendid hypnotic swirl pattern. The chandelier has no labels or signatures that allow its attribution but it is very likely, for design and materials, that it is an article created by the historic Italian glass company "La Murrina". The electrical system of the chandelier has been rewired by a professional; it is possible to change the warm light bulb that we have inserted, through an ingenious system of levers that firmly fixes the glass globe to a white metal disk that holds the bulb holder. The gild metal details marry perfectly with the milk glass and make it truly glamorous. The detailed dimensions of the chandelier are as follows: The total height of the pendant is 90cm but the glass sphere is 40cm high by 60cm in diameter. The glass globe is intact, it shows minimal signs of use only near the white metal disk, and are in fact completely hidden by it. The gold metal parts show minimal signs of oxidation highlighted in the photos.
