Very detailed, finely crafted pierced brass hanging lantern, recently electrified, perfect to hang in a hallway, small vestibule or powder room. Hand fashioned from sheets of brass with matching geometric and floral cut-out patterns on the lantern's 6 sides; those sides have cylindrical shaped Moorish corners with oval-pierced and ribboned detail. The curved, tapering bottom section casts a beautiful pattern and the stand-up pierced crown tops the lantern's body. The middle section of the lanterns has both clear glass panels (larger areas) and strips of textured colored glass (green, orange, purple) you often see in vintage Moroccan lanterns. A single candelabra sized hanging socket illuminates the piece. Links of brass chain attach to a central loop, with contemporary brass plated chain (8" but can adjust) and ceiling canopy. Body of fixture to mounting loop is 21"L; 8"D. The corners and bottom retain tiny loops where little decorative charms once hung--these do not detract from the piece.
