Italian mid-century modern gold metal Chandelier Splugen Brau by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, 1960s Chandelier mod. Splugen Brau with rounded shape. The turned lampshade is dome-shaped in metal with a gold finish. The cable is spring-loaded in black plastic and, thanks to a patented up-and-down mechanism hidden in the rosette, it can be modified by simply pulling the lampshade slightly and stopping at the desired height. Produced by Flos in 1960s and designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1961 on commission from the Splugen Brau restaurant and brewery in Milan. Vintage condition, with signs of use and aging, dents, some scratches and lacks of finish.
