Stunning pair of mid-century modern ceiling lights/pendants designed by helena tynell for limburg (germany, 1960s). The transparent hand blown bubble glass shades spread the light beautifully (see pictures). Beautiful and high quality. A design classic from the 1960s. re-wired and ready to use (compatible in europe, us, uk, asia, etc.). Each ceiling light requires 1x e27 light bulb (e26 in the us). Led compatible. Total height (from ceiling): c. 80 cm/c. 31.5''; height (glass shade only): 22 cm/8.7''; diameter (glass shade): 19 cm/7.5''. The length of the cable can be adjusted. Very good vintage condition. Light patina consistent with age and use. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
