Mid-century aluminum dome pendant lamp with louvers. This design is often attributed to hans-agne jakobsson and the manufacturer hans-agne jakobsson ab, markaryd. However, there is no evidence to support this attribution, such as manufacturer's labels or literature sources. the lamp body is composed of louvers. These direct the light laterally out of the shade, thus emphasizing the lamp's lamellar structure. It provides both direct downward light and indirect light. A protruding ring at the bottom of the lamp is designed to prevent direct glare from the bulb. In contrast to classic haj dome lamps, the overlapping and shape of the louvers in this lamp appear somewhat more angular, and the openings between the louvers are larger. A concave glare ring also completes the lamp at the bottom. the lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
