Sospesa is a breathtaking ceiling lamp realised in the early 60s by the luxurious glass company Venini (Murano) in the late 60s. The structure is made of precious chromed brass and it shows the original shape of auctioned Venini lamp. The glass sphere is released according to the "filigrana" technique. This imposing glass (40 cm / 15.8 inch diameter) was carried out using transparent glass rods containing straight white glass threads inside, creating the effect of a delicate lace inside the glass wall. You can feel the superb craftsmanship even by touching this precious glass. Really elegant effect once lighted up.
