Modernist German Modern Single-Socket pendant designed by Aloys Ferdinand Gangkofner for Peill & Putzler, circa 1970. Composed of mouth blown clear glass with a snow white elongated spot pattern. Exceptional design and form with a retractable cord / canopy for simple height adjustment (cord including fixture adjusts from 25" height to 62"; fixture alone is 11" high). Excellent, unrestored / original condition. Retains Petzler Germany sticker to the socket.
