Misko Pendant

The Misko Pendant from B.lux is a blown glass piece, leaving a long-lasting impression like the traditional Japanese washi paper lantern. Creator Stone Designs preaches simplicity and naturalness in their work. This idea of naturalness connects thematically with the Japanese lantern’s traditionally natural materials. Instead of using glued paper as a diffuser, this pendant uses a sculpturally blown glass form. The linear accents of the glass evoke the impressions left on a lantern by its bamboo ribbing. These accents charm in silhouette as a golden glaze covers the glass surface. The pendant’s light creates a rousing atmosphere and a soft pool of downward illumination.
