Mist Pendant Light, Copper

The elegant Mist Pendant light is inspired by ancient Chinese poems that describe the beauty of mists descending upon mountain forests and the feeling of standing close to the clouds. Seed Design wanted to bring this experience which had been put into words centuries ago by Chinese poets to modern lighting. The result is a simple and visually striking design that combines contrasting materials and tones. Matte brass, gleaming copper or polished chrome complement the glass sections which have been sanded by hand. The light is soft and warm, illuminating with a subtle glow. Gorgeous on its own, the lighting can also be used in a selection of three or more pendants above larger tables or to add a focal point to a dining room.
