Monumental 1950s Conical Perforated Copper Pendant Attributed to Paavo Tynell. Executed in perforated copper with an attractive patina, this sculptural pendant lamp is highly characteristic of Tynell's iconic work for Taito Oy in the late 1940s or early 1950s. An incredibly refined piece of incomparable scale that is quintessentially Finnish in its conception and execution. Unmarked. Accommodates 1x 60W max equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulb (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style 5" brass ceiling canopy added.
