An elegant and refined Murano blown glass pendant lamp, handcrafted by Massimo Vignelli for the prestigious Venini workshops on the island of Murano. This pendant lamp features the classic Murano "sommerso" technique: the white opaline glass upper part gradually fades into vibrant bands overlapping the base, a nod to Venini's mid-20th-century design language. The tall, tapered opaline glass body blends with the colorful "sommerso" bands overlapping the base, showcasing modern Italian art glassmaking techniques. This stunning pendant lamp represents a refined and elegant focal point for contemporary interiors seeking authentic mid-century Italian design. Very good condition, as shown in the photos. I would like to point out some light marks on the glass (visible in the detailed photos). The chandelier is in working order. The lamp holder and various electrical connection components are likely not contemporary but have been replaced (the steel cup, lamp holder).
