First introduced in 1952, the Nelson Apple Bubble Pendant by Herman Miller were an exciting collection of lamps that used a new kind of material that was surprisingly inspired by the U.S. military. The material is a soft plastic, which is vigorously spray-coated to create the Nelson® Apple Bubble Pendant, a hanging lamp that is characteristically comforting in its light output.
