Nickel Fior di Loto pendant designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Italian Lighting manufacturer Flos in 1963. This is the nickel version which consists of two parts that are joined together by chromed fittings that are an integral part of the design to provide an enclosure for the bulb. The lamp provides primarily indirect light through punched perforations on both sides of its body. The fitting of this pendant hangs from a white spiral electrical wire that hides a thin metal rope for height adjustment. Fior di Loto pendant is described in the Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000 by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 105 (1963).
