Set of pendant and two wall lamps designed by carl fagerlund for orrefors in late 1950s. Dimensions of pendant: d: 18cm, h: up to 106cm perfect condition, polished, rewired: 40w, e25-e27 bulbs us wiring compatible about the designer: swedish glass and lighting designer carl fagerlund was born in kalmar, sweden in 1915. He trained in stockholm and became a drawing teacher in 1943. From 1946 to 1980 he worked as lighting architect and designer at the acclaimed swedish glassworks orrefors glasbruk, named after the small town in southern sweden where it was situated and renowned for its high quality crystal and art glass. Fagerlund died in 2011 in the town of orrefors, the very place where his design legacy was established. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
