Design Composed of three thick, clear glass panels joined by chromed bolts, the lamp’s shade resembles a floating cube. Each pane carries a sculptural mass of fused amber glass, resembling natural resin or molten lava. The contrast between the rugged surface and the warm, almost geological bursts of colour creates a compelling visual effect when illuminated. Light diffuses softly through the dappled glass, while the amber inclusions create areas of glow and shadow. Though unsigned, the work strongly recalls the hand of Tony Zuccheri, known for experimenting with expressive organic forms during his time at Mazzega.
