Vintage Pendant Light by Ercole Barovier for Barovier & Toso, 1970s A fantastic and imposing masterwork of Ambiental Glass Art, of Mid Century Modern decor, created in the legendary "Barovier i Tosso-Murano" workshops in the 1960's. Made of best craftsmanship Murano "graniglia" glass, (a layer of uniform microcrystals added and fused to the the inside of the shade for a superb refraction of light, a proprietary technique pioneered by Ercole Barovier in the late 50's), equipped with 6 points of light. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
