This is a fantastic brutalist style hanging globe made of large chunks of glass fragments in a multitude of colors soldered together. It is not signed but I have seen others like this attributed to Peter Marsh who made this type of lights in Birmingham, England from the late 1940's to the mid 1960's. This one has a socket and wire, I am not sure they are original but I will include them, it would also look interesting just hanging without a light. This fixture would wonderful inside or outside under cover. It is in good condition, is very heavy (about 7.5 lbs) and is about 7 inches in diameter, the opening is 3.5 inches in diameter. I have two other lights like this but smaller also listed. Thank you for visiting The Moody Carpenter and please let us know if we can help you with anything.
