A smaller version originally conceived for a Danish concert hall, PH 5/4½ extends Poul Henningsen’s original 4-shade concept in a pendant designed to be mounted high up as an alternative to traditional chandeliers. Given an even more matte, white-painted shade from a recent redesign, the resulting diffused glow makes it ideal as general lighting in environs with higher ceilings.
