PederJessen studio’s Soren Pedersen and Lasse Jessen play with the intriguing contrast of wood and metal in their pendant series for Mater. A study in Nordic minimalism, Ray utilises low-heat LED technology to allow for the lighting design to feature FSC-certified oak. The wooden globe shade is mounted inside a steel outer shell with magnets so that the beam of light can be pointed in any desired direction.
