Rare Perfolux hanging lamp designed by Niek Hiemstra at Hiemstra Evolux appr. 1955. The perforated shade creates a very nice light effect. Hiemstra Evolux patented the Perfolux lamps in the 1950s. The name Perfolux also appears in Paris in the 1950s and is associated with Mathieu Matégot. This lamp is still in good condition with normal traces of use and wear. The lamp has been cleaned and the wiring has been replaced by an electrician. Colour: Red and white. Material: perforated metal, plastic and aluminium. Measurments: h x d = 130 x 35 cm.
