Rituals Xl Pendant

The Foscarini Rituals XL Pendant is inspired by the texture of oriental rice paper lanterns but is actually created by a highly technical glass blowing process. The traditional Venetian blown glass has a profile with paper lantern folds created with a mold which is then translated to the surface of the glass. Immersing the glass in acid gives the chalky finish, diffusing the light subtly. The cocoon-like structure manages to be substantial yet delicate in the soft light it produces.
