The Arteriors Rook Pendant demonstrates the use of concentric circles in lighting design. A series of hand carved wood hoops form an open sphere, held together with filament wire. The thin wire holding the wood together gives the illusion of floating objects in space. Inside is a single bulb, the illumination peaking through the wood hoops and open bottom.
