This is a beautiful Mid-Century Modern glass and brass chandelier / pendant light from the 1950s, crafted by J.T. Kalmar in Vienna, Austria. This charming fixture features brass and white-painted metal hardware, complemented by a 16-inch diameter textured “melting ice” glass ring and a diffuser disc at its underside, held in place by elegant brass knobs. The lamp emits a beautifully soft and comfortable light. It is in very good condition, showing only a lovely light patina on the brass. This modernist piece offers three light sources and has been newly rewired for safe and worry-free use in your country. The current drop height is 16 inches, but we are happy to customize the length to your specifications at no additional cost—including the option of a longer rod. The glass itself measures 16 inches in diameter and 5 inches in height. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
