The wiring has been professionally renewed for modern safety standards. Originally, the lamp featured a height-adjustable pull-down mechanism. Due to the installation of a modern, thicker safety cable, the mechanism can no longer function as intended, as the cable does not retract properly inside the brass counterweight. The mechanism remains present as an original decorative feature but is no longer operational. with its highly desirable size, this pendant is versatile and easy to place, whether above a dining table, kitchen island, side table, reading corner, or as an elegant accent light.
