Scarab Pendant

Gracious Style
Ancient Egyptians believed in life after death. They thought that the soul of the dead travelled to the Great Beyond and that the scarab, which represents the rising Sun, symbolized resurrection. Starting out from this inspiration, Lladró designers created this collection of jewelry with the scarab as an amulet of life and good luck. The scarab in this pendent is made in glazed porcelain decorated in iridescent black. The chain is gold-plated 925 sterling silver and is adjustable to two lengths. An iconic Spanish brand, Lladro is a world leader in the creation of porcelain art. Started by brothers Juan, Jose and Vicente Lladro in 1953, the ceramic figurines were initially inspired by the works of great European manufacturers like Meissen and Sevres. Over time, a unique style was forged, consisting of elongated lines, a revolutionary single-firing method, and soft pastel tones.
