The fixture descends from a stepped circular canopy via an array of slender, strong cables, placing strong LED lamping inside a fluted array of cast aluminum extrusions that form a stepped assembly that evokes the fixture’s name. Translucent glass diffusers sit inside each tube, transforming bright glare to a soft glow and casting a compound ambiance below the fixture.
