The geometrical weave patterns are designed using mathematical models and manufactured with an industrial robot.The Fiber Pattern Lamp is made of resin-impregnated f ibers. The fibers are wound with a industrial robot around a mold in geometric patterns. The result is a mesmerizing lightweight and strong lamp.Atelier Robotiq is a Rotterdam based design company founded by Søren Blomaard andAnne-Lise Heydra.Their different backgrounds combining robotics, aerospace engineering, product design and fine arts leads to unexpected and exciting products.For their mesmerizing Fiber Pattern Lamp series they experiment using an Aerospace fiber winding technology and an industrial robot for weaving light and open fiber structures.
