Vintage pendant lamp attributed to Sven Middelboe for Nordisk Solar, Scandinavian production from the 1970s. The curved lampshade in glossy orange recalls the Space Age design developed in Europe during the space race, when plastic and saturated colors dominated home lighting. The structure is completed by a cylindrical diffuser in opal white plastic, designed to soften the light and create a diffused light beam even upward. The combination of essential geometry and strong color contrast reflects the experimental nature of Nordic lighting of the period. Good condition. May show signs of aging.
