This unusual mid-century pendant was designed and manufactured in sweden in the 1950s. The light features a combination of brass and a white striped frosted glass lampshade. At the bottom there is a brass ring with small decorative loops, adding a touch of craftsmanship typical of mid-century design. The lamp reflects the minimalist yet refined aesthetic of scandinavian lighting, blending functionality with decorative appeal. Very nice original condition with some age related patina on the brass. Dimensions: total height 27.6" (70cm), height of lampshade only 11" (28cm), diameter of canopy 4" (10cm), diameter of lampshade 9.1" (23cm). The length of the lamp rod is customizable. The light requires one e26/e27 bulb and is wired for use in us. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
