The Toru Pendant from David Trubridge features a spiraling, swirling form made of interlocking bamboo segments. Designed and made in New Zealand, its three-sided geometry takes inspiration from microscopic diatoms, the single-celled microalgae essential to oceanic life. The name “Toru” originates with the Te Reo Maori word for “three,” and corresponds to its triangular structure.
