Set of three extremely rare, lovely and highly decorative mid-century modern diabolo pendant lamps or hanging lights. Designed by svend middelboe for nordisk solar company, denmark, 1958. Manufactured probably in early 1960s. executed in blue, red, yellow and inside white painted aluminum, each lamp comes with 1 x e27 / e26 edison screw fit bulb socket. They are rewired, in working condition and run both on 110/230 volt. the pendant lamps are checked, cleaned and suitable for use in the usa. dimensions of the lamp shade: height: 14.96 in. (38 cm) diameter bottom: 7.88 in. (20 cm) diameter top: 3.55 in. (9 cm) full drop with the current cord: 47.25 in. (120 cm) net weight of three pendant lamps: ca. 1,350 kg condition: good original vintage condition. Wear consistent with use and age. The color of the shades partly faded.
