A glass pendant produced in the 1970s by the national glass factory osvětlovací sklo in valašské meziříčí. The glassworks in valašské meziříčí belonged to a company s. Reich & co, once the largest producer of illuminating glass in austria-hungary. The chinese lantern lampshade is made of white satinated triplex opal glass providing subtle, diffused light. The pendant is hung on a metal rod made of brass and the light fixture works with one e27 socket lightbulb. It is fully functional and in great original condition, only the rod has a natural patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
