The subtly familiar look of Tala’s work makes their pieces feel permanent, especially as they use cutting-edge LEDs and the timeless art of mouth-blown glass. Glassblowers expand hot glass through a mold then give it an organic Voronoi quality as they hand soften the edges like erosion over a rock. This sculptural element reflects light beautifully in the air as it fits to a handsome lamp holder suspended to a fine cord suspension. Designers arrange the classically styled filaments inside the bulb in a beautiful curve inspired by the golden rule. This LED filament transforms into a bright contour of seductive ambient light.
