Zana Pendant

Master Moroccan craftsmanship paired with mid-century modern design. Handmade in Marrakesh using centuries-old techniques, the Zana Pendant inspires over a room both day and night. Morocco-based Dounia Home approaches each piece as a fusion of the past and present. They help showcase and preserve ancient arts, in this case, a hand-punctured and chiseled technique. Using a metal dome shade as a canvas, artisans punch tiny holes in clustered shapes. Artisans then chisel around the clusters, producing beautiful contours that amplify the traditional design. The holes let light escape through, producing an unforgettable silhouette. The single bulb also generates a soft glow that exits out the wide opening of the shade.
