The Pillow Sofa is designed by Muller Van Severen and presented by BD. This sofa has been improved into a new playful and modular system. The independent pillows are crisp and richly hued, perfect for puzzling together to create a fusion of comfortable seating arrangements. Edges curve smoothly and combine into an array of environments where style and grace meets plush expression of form. One where cushions mix, match, adapt, and grow, wherever they are. The cushions are made of polyether foam and polyester wadding upholstered in leather and BD fabrics TBC. This sofa chair works as a single seat but is also a filler which goes in between the corner pieces, making a sofa, smaller or larger.Muller Van Severen was founded in 2011 by Belgian artist duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. They are both artists, and their work showcases their appreciation of the natural beauty of materials and how materials can speak for themselves. Working between design and art, the couple has always been on an inspired quest for sculpturally interesting design objects and furniture. Their creations are globally identified in both private homes and public spaces.
